The company was founded in 2000 by chairman and CEO Matthias Peipp, who, with his long-standing affiliation in the film and television industry, serving in various senior management positions for major film (Constantin Film) and television (ProSieben/Sat 1) companies, has always provided quality, service and performance.
In the rapidly changing media industry, questions about the value of a company are always at the fore and, related to this, a key driver is the value of intangible assets. Numerous projects were successfully carried out on the methodical basis of DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) or the capitalized earnings method, which were important as part of DD processes. The purpose of these valuations was not only to buy or sell a company, but also to obtain funding from banks and investors.
No company in the media industry can do without content. The old slogan “Content is King!”, which has shaped our industry for many years, also applies in the digital age. But unlike in earlier times, there are now numerous evaluation platforms for content and the value chain has changed and expanded. Therefore you have to add the addition “Content is King, but Distribution is Queen and she wears the pants!”
In addition to the production of projects, purchasing and selling programming rights of all categories is one of the company’s central activities, and content is traditionally financed through pre-sales. The focus is always on an intelligent and economically optimized marketing strategy for programs that makes efficient use of the diverse possibilities.
In civil law disputes in court, there are always situations in which an expert opinion has to be used to settle different opinions. Billing obligations in the relationship between two parties sometimes have to be verified via an audit.
In the case of individual projects in the content area, in addition to the traditional model via pre-sales, alternative capital procurement channels such as industry sponsoring can also be used. Corporate financing through banks or financial service providers was also successfully supported. In this segment, we work with partners in our network when investors for startups or capital have to be found.
